Yesterday was a big day for me! It was my birthday! Hey ho. When another year of life rolls around, I personally tend to reflect. Right about now, I feel extremely blessed and grateful. This past year has been especially challenging for me, but I feel so optimistic for what the future has in store. Things are looking up for your girl. Lots of amazing things are on the way! This Wednesday Word No. 22, courtesy of Madeleine L’Engle, author of A Wrinkle in Time, is here to remind you that each year added to your life is a gift that comes with immense wisdom, lessons learned and answered questions (and prayers). When we — women especially — reach 30, age is the elephant in the room that no one wants to acknowledge. However, just think about how much insight you’ve gained by simply living life. Thankfully, we only build on what we’ve learned throughout the years. I vow to count with joy all my years as they rack up, Lord willing.
