2. Where are all my church girls at? I know you can relate to this Look at God tee. Won’t He do it? Yes, He does every single time. Thanks be to God! And thanks to Andrea Lewis for making one of my favorite sayings wearable. (missandrealewis.bigcartel.com)

3. If this Ivory Floral Twist Dress from Dorothy Perkins doesn’t put you in the springtime mood, then I don’t know what will. This dress was made for twirling in the sunshine. Pair it with some espadrilles and a floppy hat, and you’ve got a winning ensemble. (dorothyperkins.com)

4. How fun is this Blue Cotton Candy Beaded Bracelet Set? There’s a whole lot going on with the tassels, beads and pops of gold, but sometimes you gotta kick things up several notches with accessories. (poppycove.com)

5. Come on baby light my fire is right! Check out this smokin’ hot Clayton Tunic in cayenne by Tularosa. I wouldn’t be surprised if this spicy number is in heavy rotation at Coachella. (revolveclothing.com)

1. As strange as this may sound, this Madewell Abroad Dress In Stripe-Inset may actually look best when viewed in profile. Those stripes are a pleasant, adorable surprise that make the otherwise typical LBD super interesting. (madewell.com)

2. Fun fact: The Woolrich brand is based in the working community of Woolrich, Pennsylvania, a town that was founded in 1845 around the wool mill’s activities. But when you consider the brand’s name (emphasis on “rich”), it makes total sense that this Woolrich Feather Print Tote is as elegant as they come. (farfetch.com)

3. It looks like you’re Out For Blood ’cause you’re gonna be killin’ it in this dashing Crop Top and Pencil Skirt. If you’re in the mood for a toned-down look, you can always wear the pieces separately. Gotta love variety! (melodyehsani.com)

4. Long live the Dancing Girls emoji! Now my favorite text-messaging symbol can be used to add some flair to any and all of my outfits. Thanks, Valley Cruise for bringing this darling BFF Lapel Pin into my life. May we never forget the time my pal, Zita, and I dressed like these quirky characters for 826LA’s Dance-a-thon. (valleycruisepress.com)

5. I’m feeling the breezy, springtime vibes from this bright yellow Draped Dress. It makes me wanna soak up the sunshine, which has been plentiful, as of late. Yes, Lord! (mango.com)

1. This week’s heatwave has turned my mind toward fun in the sun and swimwear. I’m about ready to make a splash with this tropical-looking Mikoh Barbados Striped Bikini Top. (net-a-porter.com)

2. To cap off this year’s National Small Business Week, I’d like to introduce you to ARC of LA. The name of New York-based designer Abigail Rose Chapin’s exquisite line of leather bags is an homage to her years spent in the great city of Los Angeles. I’m bummed that I missed the Echo Park Craft Fair, where her bags were on display but I’m glad I found them online. And I must say, she’s got quite the assortment of patterns, sizes and colors. This Medium Grey/White Diamonds Hand-Printed Horizontal Pouch is to die for. (arcofla.com)

3. “Sí,” “oui,” “hai” and “是” are what I say to this Hugo Guinness for J. Crew “Yes” Tee. I can’t get enough of handwriting and quirky fonts like the one on display here. (jcrew.com)

Even better, you essentially get to paint the town red in two outfits for the price of one — a crop top and a high-waist flared skirt (and the boundless styling possibilities that come with both them). Thrifted Thursday: Red Biker-Style Jacket from Goodwill, Hermosa Beach

March 20, 2014

20140319-153038.jpg

I haven’t had any luck finding a leather biker jacket, but this Minimum red biker-style jacket ($8.99) with plenty of zippers and accents was a good compromise. Not only was it in excellent condition (I may even dare to venture that it was brand new), the color is just the pop that I need in my spring wardrobe. I also enjoy the faint army green contrasted on the jacket’s interior.

But this wasn’t all that caught my eye that day. After the jump, check out some quaint finds I also discovered that day.
