Get into an all-new batch of must-have goods and wares in this week’s edition of Fancy Things Friday:

1. The writer in me did a full-fledged soft shoe upon discovering these Rafaella flats from Loly in the Sky. The quotation marks one the toes spark whimsy and curiosity. Mark my words, these sweet flats will be mine. (

2. Live on the edge — literally and figuratively — with this Splendid Girl Pleather Mix Jacket. With a blend of ponte knit mixes and sleek faux leather, this moto jacket provided texture and spunk. The asymmetrical zipper and a cowl-neck collar show that you are spontaneous looker who marches to the beat of your own drum. Zig and zag with abandon, lovey! (

3. It’s prime white party season, and you’ll be the belle of the ball with this daring Strapless Popover Jumpsuit. I love that it’s tight in all the right places but offers plenty of movement with the flouncy bodice. Show off those clavicles, cutie! And feel free to go big with the accessories, ’cause this blank canvas is ripe with styling opportunities. (

4. It’s Friday! Treat yo self to some fine leather goods. Look no further than this dainty Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn Mini Crossbody Bag. Secure the bag, as Khaled advises, with the lock and key feature, which is a pleasant surprise. What a novel concept! (

5. I just can’t get enough of bare shoulders lately. I mean, it is summer, after all. If you feel the same way, then you’ll adore this Ribbed 2 Ways To Wear Off The Shoulder Sweater a la Express. You can wear it with the zipper in the front or back. Either way, you’re golden … or Rose Blush, as in another hue this darling top comes in. Or go with Pitch Black for a sophisticated vibe. (

Get into an all-new batch of swoon-inducing goods and wares in this week’s Fancy Things Friday:

1. Front Row Shop was all, “I am woman; hear me roar,” when it concocted this Pink Asymmetric Zip PU Jacket. Edgy and fierce with a feminine touch, because, hello. Pink. It’s the details that do it for me here: the notched lapels and the ribbon zipper pulls. Plus, the asymmetric look is on fleek — just like your auntie’s haircut circa ’89. (

2. These Mountain Post – Peaks Sterling Silver Stud Earrings from TheAngryWeather are giving me serious winter feels, as they’re reminiscent of snow-capped mountains. Chilly willy! The silver lining here is that these silver showstoppers are handmade with love. (

3. They say El Niño is gonna show up and show out this winter. While we wait for the little-big fella to arrive, check out these Riff Raff Rain Boots from Nasty Gal. It’s literally where the rubber meets the road. Wear these fun guys out when the weather outside is frightful. But, hey, splashing in puddles with these would be so delightful! No doubt, they’ll keep you high and dry. (

4. Remember when dark-skinned Aunt Viv danced for her life that one time in dance class, showing those haters how it’s done? (Still one my favorite moments from Ms. Petty LaBelle herself, Janet Hubert, although her recent readings have made me reconsider which reigns supreme.) Well, you can bring that look to life with this curve-hugging ribbed Little Miss Popular Jumpsuit in Rose. Just be sure to nail it with a statement necklace and a strappy heel, and snap in the face of any shade that comes your way. ‘Cause you cute and you know it. Yaaass, Queeen, yaaaasss! (

5. Math was never my strong suit, but this Black Geometric Print Bomber Jacket could make me fall in love with geometry. The black-and-white pattern is eye-popping and the faux leather shoulder patches help bring this stunning jacket home. Doesn’t it just exude power? (

1. These Pleated Court Shoes go where no shoe has gone before (or at least where I have never seen a shoe go before) with its distinct folds. Way to keep us on our toes, Zara. (

2. What’s not to love about this Metal Trim Rounded Clutch in Beige? With this bag on your shoulder (or in your hands), you’re sure to look fly, as this accessory ups the ante of any outfit. (

3. Nasty Gal absolutely brings it with this whimsical Reese Cape. So many possibilities with this number! Who’s ready for an escapade? (

4. These Drop Crotch Loose Trousers bring an added level of sophistication to the harem pants you thought you knew. Thanks, Loeil! (

5. Make a statement in this vibrant, edgy Elizabeth Vegan Leather Moto Jacket in Red by Little Girl Lies. Truth is, you’ll be the envy of all the girls with this jacket on. (

1. I’m late to the party, but LACMA (the Los Angeles County Museum of Art) has collaborated with designer Clare Vivier, among others, for its Wear LACMA initiative. The phrase L’habit ne fait pas le moine on this Limited-Edition T-Shirt translates in French to “the clothing doesn’t make the monk” — basically, “you can’t judge a book by its cover.” Apparently, Vivier was inspired by a finely wrought 18th century French vest from the museum’s Costume and Textile collection. See? You learned something new today. (

2. What’s big and round and tortoise-like all over? That would be these Kediralia sunglasses, proper eyewear for the beaches and pools that await the sunny summer days ahead. (

3. Peek-a-Boo-Hoo! I see you, Sammena Geo Gem Triangle Earrings. And so will the many eyes of passersby whose heads you turn when you have these on. BooHoo’s got plenty more where these spicy numbers came from! (

4. Floral prints aren’t only for spring. No, no, no. They transition well into summer and are perfect for those still-warm nights, especially when paired with an open-toed heel and a daring lip — like so. I personally can see myself rocking this Black Floral Jumpsuit to a rooftop soiree. (

5. Revel the night away in this bad-ass White Color Block Leather Biker Jacket, you rebel you. (

1. Isn’t it lovely? There’s so much to love about Aldo’s Hosken flat slingbacks. I’m particularly fond of that eye-popping black-and-white pattern on the toe. Now to find the perfect sundress to complement them. (

2. This bright neon green Easy Sleeveless A-line Dress is a likely contender. I’m a huge fan of the drama and glamour that this dress can and will bring. P.S. The skirt portion is so poofy it was a struggle to fit it in the frame. My kind of dress! (

3. If ever I had $980 just laying around, I would splurge on this Falkor statement necklace. Currently made to order, this Dylanlex piece is made with antique Swarovski crystals, signature coins and detailed Indian filigree, and is guaranteed to make you shine. (

4. National Small Business Week may have ended, but ’round these parts I’m keeping the local love going strong. You have to check out Sexy Swim Boutique for all your summer swimwear. This Red Bow Bandeau Top High-Waisted Bikini has that sultry retro vibe that I can’t get enough of. Plus it has two things that I absolutely adore: polka dots and bows. It’s ready for pre-order! Get it while it’s hot. (

5. It’s rare that you find a blue leather jacket. All I can say is, it’s electric. Muubaa Sembri Leather Jacket, there’s just something about you. (
