Sweater weather is in full swing, and this Fancy Things Friday highlights a few you gems you definitely won’t want to miss:

1. I almost forgot we were in the dead of winter when I saw these whimsical Make Great Rides Flats. They make me want to put on some petal pushers or a maxi skirt and ride my bike through the park on a breezy spring day. Who am I kidding? Alright, I do live in SoCal, so that scenario is possible pretty much 365. But these retro flats would be lovely all year long! (modcloth.com)

2. Can’t commit to one color for your next go-to bag? Look no further than this luxurious Reversible Vegan Crossbody Bag in Kelly/Taupe, which dares to be different by giving a girl like you options. Other color vibrant combos include Ivory/Snake, Red/Nude, Brown/Nude, Blush/Taupe, Emerald/Tan and Tan/Grey. (freepeople.com)

3. Way to give the blast from the past “dickey” a new lease on life, Free People. Meet the Mock Shirt With Scallop Collar — the dickey’s much cooler, chicer cousin. Accentuate those curves by layering on a statement necklace that peeks out from beneath the collar. (cosstores.com)

4. Sometimes less is more, and this Ultra Long Zip Hoodie has certainly gotten the memo. It’s basic but bold. The length sets it apart from your run-of-the-mill hoodie, which comes with front pockets and a drawstring hood. This sweater also comes in black, which gives me an indisputable Yeezy vibe. Bring on the rain! I know Monki’s got me covered with this daring and functional piece. (monki.com)

5. Gals, I like big bows and I cannot lie. This you already know, but this NEHU Bow Detail Ribbed Jumper by Ted Baker made me squeal with delight at first glance. I also appreciate the unexpected choice of placing the ostentatious embellishment on the shoulder. (tedbaker.com)

Get into an all-new batch of must-have goods and wares in this week’s edition of Fancy Things Friday:

1. This past week has been sending serious desert vibes, as it’s been a bit of a scorcher. Hence, this lovely Cactus Gold Necklace. It’s straight and to the point and would dazzle popping out from a V-neck tee or a romper. Also, shout out to my new desk cactus, Penelope, the belle of the ball. (wanderlustandco.com)

2. I can’t even with these Vegan Shot in the Dark Sandals by Seychelles. So much to adore! First of all, you know black and white is my jam — always a treat in striped form. Secondly, the slingback and open-toe front bring out the playfulness. These also come in a darling chambray, if you’re having a desire for denim. (freepeople.com)

3. Do a slightly different take on the traditional red, white and blue this Fourth of July with these fun, sporty burgundy Lyocell Shorts. If you’re not sold on this hue, get into the denim version. Options! Major key. (hm.com)

4. Summertime sass never looked as good as it does in this Rust Twist Front Tunic a la River Island. The cut-out detail says, “I’m ready to party!”, and the twist embellishment just chimes in with a “Turn up!” Now this dress is speaking my language. Wear this ensemble boldly with some peep-toe wedges. (riverisland.com)

5. This Floral Fit and Flare DSress is the epitome of ladylike elegance: flirty, demure and dainty. The flowers placed throughout are like a breath of fresh air and the cut-out back adds a welcome element of style and surprise. (pixiemarket.com)

Get into an all-new batch of spring-inspired goods and wares in this week’s Fancy Things Friday:

1. Cool it now, with this crisp, cobalt blue Mini Fringe Crossbody Bag. The tan and grey versions are fine and well, but something about the blue feels extra special. Take this bag to new heights by removing the strap and wearing it as a clutch. (freepeople.com)

2. The Esi Top is unabashedly Afrocentric and I’m all for it. The pattern provides whimsy and playfulness, while the plunging back is a pleasant surprise. The top is also available in a teal green-and-white pattern that’s extra earthy and equally charming. (kedelcouture.bigcartel.com)

3. Shine on, girl! This Glisten Black and Nude Sequin Rose Jumpsuit just demands attention. The dazzling rose pattern overlay is made up from sequins, and this playsuit is elegant, stylish and versatile. (pinkboutique.co.uk)

4. The Hanalei Collar Necklace is a lovely reminder of the season we’re in. Springtime is upon us, and it lends itself to wonderful pieces, such as this stunning statement necklace featuring ultra-realistic marbled hibiscus blossoms secured by a structured gold collar and black ribbon. There’s a tropical touch that would make this necklace perfect for styling outfits for my upcoming Hawaii trip. (baublebar.com)

5. Peekaboo! I see you. This Faye Cut Out Dress breaks the monotony of the usual little black dress. This piece keeps you on your toes with the sleek cutout. The buttons and billowy sleeves tone down the sass and make for a darling frock. (francescas.com)

5. Kudos to Modern Citizen for giving pinstripes a modern, sleek new lease on life with this darling Channing Striped Tie Blouse. If you wanted to be extra matchy-matchy, look no further than this darling Paola Striped Swing Skirt. Also, the wraparound tie adds an unexpected bit of flair to this charming striped crop top. 3. “Yabba dabba dooo!” White Fox Boutique effortlessly channels your favorite prehistoric pals with this Pebbles & Bam Bam Shirt Dress. I wouldn’t dare break up the awesomeness of this print by adding a belt, but I’d keep the playful vibe going by adding some colorful, strappy sandals. (whitefoxboutique.com)

4. Rise up to the challenge of all the rivals in this ultra swanky Eye Of The Tiger Satin Bomber Jacket. And the only accessory you’ll need is confidence, you survivor, you because you can’t not be fierce with this jacket on. (pixiemarket.com)

1. As strange as this may sound, this Madewell Abroad Dress In Stripe-Inset may actually look best when viewed in profile. Those stripes are a pleasant, adorable surprise that make the otherwise typical LBD super interesting. (madewell.com)

2. Fun fact: The Woolrich brand is based in the working community of Woolrich, Pennsylvania, a town that was founded in 1845 around the wool mill’s activities. But when you consider the brand’s name (emphasis on “rich”), it makes total sense that this Woolrich Feather Print Tote is as elegant as they come. (farfetch.com)

3. It looks like you’re Out For Blood ’cause you’re gonna be killin’ it in this dashing Crop Top and Pencil Skirt. If you’re in the mood for a toned-down look, you can always wear the pieces separately. Gotta love variety! (melodyehsani.com)

4. Dopeciety has done it again with its Artist.Creator.Threat. tee! If ever you needed something to reignite that fire inside of you calling you to be great, you’re looking right at it. Now get to work! (dopeciety.com)

5. Free People’s Denim Petal Brief shorts are the more sophisticated cousin of those ratchet daisy dukes. I love that the shorts hug the body in all the right places and at the same time creates a dainty, feminine feel. (freepeople.com)

1. File these Swift Flats under “cute and unusual.” These Free People exclusive sling-backs include elastic detailing woven with leather, and are the epitome of a beach bummy/beach bunny sandal. (freepeople.com)

2. Tassel up, girls! This Leather Zip Round Cross Body Bag is just what we need to contain all that we need to face the day. (warehouse.andotherbrands.com)

3. Legend has it that & Other Stories designers couldn’t reach a consensus on the color options for the Wrap-Design Dress, so they chose both blue and black. … I kid! I kid! The two tones found in this wrap dress make for an elegant but eccentric look, appropriate for a day-to-night transition. Get ready for a healthy dose of double-takes with this one, sisters! (stories.com)

4. I have to hand it to Forever 21. This new batch of apparel, including this Tulip-Front Maxi Skirt, is everything! (forever21.com)

5. Now, I normally don’t list prices in these posts. But let’s just say that this super cute, super fancy Lace Dress With Waist Seam has been reduced to the dollar amount that Macklemore purports to having in his pocket. The blueish hue and lace overlay just scream, “I am royalty. Curtsey when you enter into my presence.” (zara.com)
