Get into this super-cute batch of swoon-inducing goods and wares in this week’s edition of Fancy Things Friday:

1. A curtsey is in order when addressing a piece as elegant as these stacked Bourbon & Boweties Black & Labradorite Stone Bracelets. It features marbled stones, lustrous glass pearls and inky-black crystals, wherein each piece could be deemed the real star. Since this boho-chic bracelet combines multiple pieces, you can really get creative with the layering. Hop to it! (nordstrom.com)

2. This Taupe White Envelope Clutch from DeAlmeidaDesigns is definitely something to write home about. The killer color combo of white and taupe fit nicely in this darling little package. It’s large enough to carry the essentials yet stylish enough to elevate an ensemble. (etsy.com)

3. This Meridian Sweater-Jacket in Stripe will transition smoothly from summer to fall (eeek! time flies). Color-blocking is here to stay, friends, and the stripes effortlessly add a smidge of razzle-dazzle. It’s the quintessential lazy-day frock: Just throw on a pair of jeans (boyfriend or skinny — take a pick), a tank, some flats and this jacket, and you’ll look lovely. (madewell.com)

4. Asymmetry is at its finest with this Belted Wrap Midi Dress. The different hem lengths and stripes give off a certain sporty vibe (hey now, Sporty Spice!) but could look equally stunning if dressed up. I’m digging the choice of the all-white (daaaamn, Daniel. back at it agin) sneaker here, too. (genuine-people.com)

5. Lavender, black, white or autumn: Take your pick and traipse through the city while wearing the sweetest Kimchi Blue Meryn Ruffle Babydoll Top. That ruffle tho! Plus, I enjoy the high slits on the slides. As the sun gradually sets, break out a wedge or a bootie to play up the night-on-the-town factor. (urbanoutfitters.com)

Springtime vibes seemed to just find me, so I’m delighted to present an all-new batch of spring-inspired goods and wares in this week’s Fancy Things Friday:

1. Of course an Etsy shop called “A Little Vintage Store” would be right up my alley. I recently discovered this magical shop and can’t get enough of all the cuteness inside. I’m particularly partial to this Thread Drawn Cactus Necklace. (etsy.com)

2. Can I kick it? Yes, you can! Elevate your kick game leaps and bounds with these Winslow Bow Slip-ons. I’d be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge these beautiful bows. I mean, how could you not? They have a certain Japanese, origami aesthetic about them, and you can kinda see that theme showing up in a few other items in this roundup. (theloeil.com)

3. ‘Cause I’m a laaady! (*said in Sheneneh’s voice.) The name of this My Little Lady Dress from Storets is rather apropos. It’s dainty and precious and sweet and stylish. I live for the Peter Pan collar, by the way. Complete the look by pairing this number with an ankle-strapped heel or a downright Mary Jane. It goes, trust me. (storets.com)

4. There’s something so edgy and sophisticated about this Boohoo Bow Front Crop Top. Hats off to the creative genius who thought outside the box with the placement of this ginormous bow. It really makes a statement! Like, “I’m different, yeah, I’m different.” (asos.com)

5. You’d have to be an April Fool to pass up on this dazzling FRS Yellow Crane Embroidery Kimono Jacket. It truly is a work of art … from all angles. So I’ll let its beauty speak for itself. (frontrowshop.com)

Get into this swoon-worthy batch of goods and wares in this week’s edition of Fancy Things Friday:

1. What better way to let them know that you are a gift than to rock this baller Quela Gold Ring, with the most darling bow detail. This dazzling piece is the perfect accessory for a cocktail party dress. (ruegembon.com)

2. Picasso, baby! How rad is this Paint Palette Clutch from the rommydebommy Etsy shop? It’s a full-on party that’s a prime piece for self-expression. Wear this clutch with a sleek, subtle black dress or run wild with patterns. Either way, you’ll be great. (etsy.com)

3. Sometimes you just gotta stunt on folks. This ultra lavish, elegant Lavish Alice Split Back Cape Dress is just the ’fit to give it to them. This smart dress is structured yet whimsical, and I’m here for all of it. (asos.com)

4. Hot ticket alert! These Michael Kors Casual Pants are deeply discounted over at Yoox. Get them while they’re hot. There’s lots to love about these pantaloons, but I’m partial to the stripes, which elongate. Crucial for vertically challenged ladies like me. They just scream for a pop of color. Anything would work, really. Play around. Try something new. (yoox.com)

5. Be still my heart! I’m having genuine feels for this Genuine People Red Fit + Flare Velvet Mini Dress. Glad to see that crushed velvet is making a comeback! “What is this? Velvet?” You already know! (genuine-people.com)

Get into an all-new batch of swoon-inducing goods and wares in this week’s Fancy Things Friday:

1. Front Row Shop was all, “I am woman; hear me roar,” when it concocted this Pink Asymmetric Zip PU Jacket. Edgy and fierce with a feminine touch, because, hello. Pink. It’s the details that do it for me here: the notched lapels and the ribbon zipper pulls. Plus, the asymmetric look is on fleek — just like your auntie’s haircut circa ’89. (frontrowshop.com)

2. These Mountain Post – Peaks Sterling Silver Stud Earrings from TheAngryWeather are giving me serious winter feels, as they’re reminiscent of snow-capped mountains. Chilly willy! The silver lining here is that these silver showstoppers are handmade with love. (etsy.com)

3. They say El Niño is gonna show up and show out this winter. While we wait for the little-big fella to arrive, check out these Riff Raff Rain Boots from Nasty Gal. It’s literally where the rubber meets the road. Wear these fun guys out when the weather outside is frightful. But, hey, splashing in puddles with these would be so delightful! No doubt, they’ll keep you high and dry. (nastygal.com)

4. Remember when dark-skinned Aunt Viv danced for her life that one time in dance class, showing those haters how it’s done? (Still one my favorite moments from Ms. Petty LaBelle herself, Janet Hubert, although her recent readings have made me reconsider which reigns supreme.) Well, you can bring that look to life with this curve-hugging ribbed Little Miss Popular Jumpsuit in Rose. Just be sure to nail it with a statement necklace and a strappy heel, and snap in the face of any shade that comes your way. ‘Cause you cute and you know it. Yaaass, Queeen, yaaaasss! (fashionnova.com)

5. Math was never my strong suit, but this Black Geometric Print Bomber Jacket could make me fall in love with geometry. The black-and-white pattern is eye-popping and the faux leather shoulder patches help bring this stunning jacket home. Doesn’t it just exude power? (riverisland.com)

As James Wright Chanel reminded us in his review of the Patti LaBelle Sweet Potato Pie, we gotta support Black businesses. Thanks to the good people over at Blavity, there’s a great selection of a few Black-owned companies to shop. These are just five of my favorites from that list. Get your Black Friday on, folks (pun intended!).

1. Yo! “House Party” has to be one of my top five favorite movies of all time. The epic dance battle scene. Kid’s iconic high-top fade. A young Martin Lawrence spinning records. “Switch!” Countless quotables like “‘Peanut! Fix us a couple glasses of Kool-Aid.’ … ‘Grape or red?'” That’s why I was so juiced to discover The Party Clutch by Kashmir VIII. It’s bright and fun, and will definitely be a conversation-starter. Wearable art! I live! (kashmirviii.com)

2. We are who we are today because of the sacrifices of those who came before us. We stand on their shoulders. Now it’s time for us to carry them on our shoulders. Look no further than this Because of Them We Can Signature Backpack, which bears the names of greats like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Marcus Garvey and others. I’m a huge fan of the black-and-white patterns on the sides. I’m patiently waiting for this sold-out piece to get restocked, but way to fuse empowerment with functionality and style! (becauseofthemwecan.com)

3. You can’t tell from this angle, but this Stay Woke Crewneck in Heather Grey is “emblazoned with the Adinkra symbol, Epa, which symbolizes law, justice, slavery and captivity,” Glossrags says. The sentiment behind the symbol is captured on the back, which encourages people to “Stay Woke,” as in keep informed of all the craziness, injustices and strife going on in the world around us. (glossrags.com)

4. This “Wynn” Print from DorcasCreates is simply darling. The pop of red with the glasses is a pleasant surprise, and the subject’s beautiful natural hair is enchanting. Yay, Team Natural! (etsy.com/shop/dorcascreates)

5. Tees in the Trap is speaking truth with its The Brunch Life Chose Me Tee. Nothing brings a sister joy quite like the promise of a bottomless mimosa-laden brunch with friends over the weekend. What can I say? I didn’t choose the brunch life — the brunch life chose me. Find me at The Pink Elephant in San Francisco with this one on. (teesinthetrap.com)

1. Now that it’s colder, I wouldn’t mind wearing a fancy hat to warm this noggin of mine. Luckily, there’s Una Hats, which has an abundance of vintage-inspired handmade brims in an array of fabrics and hues. There were too many to choose from, but for now, this True Grit – Oatmeal Felt Western Chic Hat is my favorite. It’s so regal and old-timey. For some reason, the name Eleanor comes to mind. (etsy.com)

2. These Steve Madden Jannyce Black Suede Leather Ankle Boots were made for walking. And that’s just what they’ll do. That’s right, walking to a night out on the town, or an intimate dinner with the one you love. (lulus.com)

3. Move over, standard peacoat. This ultra sleek and stylish Frock Coat is where it’s at. The black faux leather trim on the lapels, shoulders and pockets are just exquisite. (madeleine.co.uk)

4. Hello there, HelloMolly! I don’t know if I’m late to the party but the online shop has plenty of darling items. For example, these multi-colored Puzzle Piece Pants that are just too cool for school. (hellomollyfashion.com)

5. I rep Team Natural all day every day and fully support this Nappy Dictionary T-shirt, because some people just don’t know. (globalcouture.net)

1. I’ve always felt lucky to be born in July because my birthstone is ruby, the most beautiful gemstone, in my personal opinion. And it appears my luck may have just improved because I discovered these Ruby Red and Swarovski Stud Earrings from the Etsy shop, Petite Delights by Iloniti. These are like the cherry on top of any outfit, and totally remind me of Christmastime. (etsy.com)

2. “Be silly. Be honest. Be kind.” Now that’s my kind of mantra. This darling little Itty Bitty Be Silly Bowl from Aoki Boutique is perfect for holding rings or earrings, or even organizing loose change. This design accent is both functional and quite fun. (aokiboutique.com)

3. Ah, to be wrapped up in this super cozy, heather grey Reverse Herringbone Pullover on a chilly autumn day. This Merino wool sweater from Madewell looks how a warm hug feels. Sign me up! (madewell.com)

4. Looking like a stylish, put-together professional could be as simple as putting on this sleek Cream Pussybow Tweed Jumpsuit. It transitions well from day to night, or “from desk to dinner,” as River Island puts it. (riverisland.com)

5. This stunning Sequins of Events Tribal Bustier from Go Jane already has me dreaming of New Year’s Eve. My ideal sequence of events in this feisty, festive little number? Good music, erratic dancing, the company of loved ones and priceless memories. (gojane.com)

1. These precious Lori Cutout Flats by Restricted transition well from summer into fall. With a chambray top and a bright midi skirt, these rustic-inspired shoes would definitely pop. (shopruche.com)

2. I’ll admit it. I have long been a staunch naysayer of fedoras. That all changed when I saw Lack of Color’s collection of wide-brimmed fedoras. This Montana Hidden Shadows hat is super versatile with its deep grey brim, black bow detail ribbon and light marle grey crown. It gives me a certain film noir dame vibe. (lackofcolor.com.au)

3. With its daring cobalt blue hue, the sexy silk Caila Envelop Skirt has a regal air about it. Pair this wraparound skirt with an open-toe heel and your invisible crown, and they’ll be singing, “She’s your queeeeeeen tooo beeeee.” (shopdoll.com)

4. I’m always proud to rep for Team Natural. These Naturally Dope Hand Painted Earrings from Leather Candy Accessories make it easy. Plus, dopeness needs to be acknowledged and celebrated. (etsy.com)

5. Florals and polka dots join forces in this vintage-inspired Princess Rose One-Piece swimsuit. So much charm in one small package! (limericki.com)
