1. If you love smart social commentary, pop culture recaps so on point they’ll have you screaming “YAASSS!” all by yourself, and copious amounts of laughter (who doesn’t?), I’ve got the podcast for you! It’s called The Get., and it was created by my pal Ivy and her good friend Rhiana (Ovary Gang, represent!). I just love how transparent these women are and how inviting the podcast is. The Get just, well, gets me — my delight in shedding light on the most epic shadings of our day and the varying levels of foolishness in need of a good rebuking and all. It’s like these gals are right there with me in my living room. So basically get in on The Get! You won’t be disappointed. New episodes drop biweekly on Wednesdays. (www.wearetheget.com)

2. A tip of the hat to the good people over at J. Crew for bringing this luxurious Wide-Brimmed Felt Hat With Leather Band to the masses. With some over-the knee boots, a bold lip and this hat, you couldn’t tell me nothing! (jcrew.com)

3. Doesn’t this super cozy Maronie Shawl Cardigan look how a warm hug feels? Ah, drink it in. This sweater is rife for opportunities for layering. Make a piece like this one of your staples this season. (hautelook.com)

4. You know by now that I go ga-ga for d’orsay flats. Mix in a variety of patterns and textures and I’ll swoon. These dazzling Elsemma flats had that effect on me. These fun shoes can elevate a plain look to plain dope, and I need them in my life. That is all. (justfab.com)

5. Hey now! Whether you wear these Crepe Cigarette Trousers in Red around the office or out on the town, you’ll be making a bold statement. Pow! (www.missguidedus.com)

1. I am absolutely head-over-heels in love with these Jeffrey Campbell In Love Leather D’Orsay Flats. Why, you ask? The two-toned dynamic duo of tan and black. You can never go wrong. Obvi. (urbanoutfitters.com)

2. Artitzia advises that this Sunday Best Dashner Dress be saved for when you’re feeling particularly coquettish, and I concur! The flowy cap sleeves and fit-and-flare silhouette are particularly flirty. Hey, boys! (aritzia.com)

3. It rained a good amount (well, at least for Southern California in the tail end of summer) earlier this week, and for the first time in a long time, I didn’t know what to wear. Not a good predicament to be in at 5 a.m., scrambling to get dressed and out the door for work. But I digress. I’m slowly coming to terms with the fact that fall, and chillier weather, is upon us. However, this swanky Mono Check Duster Jacket actually has me looking forward to autumn and winter. Plus, the vintage feel is an added bonus. I spy small pockets of houndstooth! (missselfridge.com)

4. Look like a walking masterpiece in this stunningly abstract Brush It Off Painted A-Line Midi Skirt. It paints a lovely picture of a avant-garde statement piece that commands attention. (gojane.com)

5. Way to play the wild card with these fun Leopard-Print Slacks, H&M! The possibilities are endless with these pants: day or night, work or play, heels or flats, neutrals or a pop of red — you catch my drift. (hm.com)

1. These ultra-swanky D’orsay Cutout Faux Suede Flats from Forever 21 came as a bit of a surprise. A very pleasant surprise. These flats look like something you’d find at Urban Outfitters or Nordstroms. Way to elevate the game, gang! (forever21.com)

2. Say what you mean to say with this darling Gemma Crystal Statement Necklace from Morning Lavender. This piece pairs well with a simple plain white or black tee, and gets bonus points because the crystals look like sweet little flowers. (morninglavender.com)

3. There’s nothing rusty about this dazzling Mara Geo Tie Waist Shift Dress, except for, well, the color. This reddish-orange dress is capable of navigating both professional and playful spaces, and could definitely transition well from day to night. Get ready! (boohoo.com)

4. Boy, oh boy! Boy London really knew what it was doing with its relaxed Women’s All Over Boy Shirt. Run wild with the styling possibilities. I see what the stylist did here by adding a feminine touch with the statement necklace. I could see myself rocking this layered with a structured jacket, dual-textured pants and a bootie — fully embracing and nodding to the masculinity of the print. (shopkitson.com)

5. Done and done! This quaint Tie-Neck Colorblocked Combo Dress kills two birds by making this a ready-made look. Shirt? Check. Skirt? Check. And how could you pass up on a secretary-style tie neck? So retro, so chic. (forever21.com)

1. Love Lorde, but I think she got it wrong when she sang, “And we’ll never be royal,” ’cause this Duchess of Panama Necklace has made me fall in love with being queen. Thanks to Glamour and Glow (who else?) for serving up this glamorous piece of wearable royalty. (glamourandglow.com)

2. Chill out in this über relaxed Slub Crewneck Tee in Faded Chartreuse. Or tszuj up this simple tee by adding some sparkle, a la item No. 1. (madewell.com)

3. Whether you’re going off the grid or going to the country club for a game of tennis, these checkered Eve Shorts are perfect attire. (brandymelvilleusa.com)

4. Way to class it up with these Women’s Sam & Libby Heidi Two Piece Flats, Target! For the uninitiated, that’s pronounced Tar-jé, not Tar-get. These d’orsay flats are deceptively affordable and extra stylish. They also come in black on black, and animal print on black. (target.com)

5. Spring on the scene in this darling Peach Full Bloom Rosette Flare Dress, courtesy of Love Culture. Look fab in this sweet number at a springtime wedding. (loveculture.com)

1. This MINKPINK Yay Sweatshirt expresses my sentiments for the new year! “Yay” for a fresh start and another chance to get it right. Plus, I’m all for wearing my emotions on my sleeve, or chest, in this case. (bloomingdales.com)

2. It’s all love when it comes to Kate Spade and her Be Mine Studs. Charmingly simple, wear these golden gems to spread that loving feeling all year long. (katespade.com)

3. These leather d’orsay-style Camela Flats, courtesy of Need Supply Co., are perfection in shoe form. That is all. (needsupply.com)

4. Wear these dazzling Trouvé Sequin Track Pants day or night because, why not? Go for the tomboy look or go for the glam girl flair — either way you’re winning in these slouchy joggers. (nordstrom.com)

5. No detail was spared on this Charcoal Dots Tote Bag. Looks like it was handcrafted just for me (you know I can’t resist a nice dot pattern). But in reality it was handmade in Portland, Oregon, using handprinted canvas, rich sturdy leather straps with fine brass rivets and finished with chocolate-brown geometric-print cotton lining. Well done, Anna Joyce! (annajoycedesign.com)

1. Why, hello. Any man in his right mind would be pleased to make your acquaintance while wearing this Red Sleeveless Open Scallop Back Pleated Dress. Let the head turning begin. (sheinside.com)

2. What’s not to love about these Steve Madden Elusion Leopard Pony Fur D’Orsay Flats? My only complaint is that they’re not on my feet right now. (lulus.com)

3. I’d like to think of the creator of jewelry brand Spike the Punch as modern-day Willy Wonka (albeit more fashion savvy and easier on the eyes) because choosing which color Rainey Necklace you want is like being a kid in a candy store. So many options to pick from, all of them delicious. It’s too bad they’ve all been devoured (out of stock), but a girl can dream, right? (shopspikethepunch.com)

4. Unlock Hope Uganda is a brand with a message that the world needs to hear. When you purchase this Be The Good Unisex Crew — or any other tee, tank or necklace — the proceeds cover all expenses necessary for supporting girls in poverty-stricken Uganda in their pursuit of an education. (unlockhope.com)

5. Maybe you fancy yourself a Soul Sister. Perhaps a Love Child. No matter what you’re feeling, Cleobella’s Neon Orange Stamped Tassel Bracelet makes a statement. (cleobella.com)

1. These lovely Anni D’orsay Flats are charming in any of the three styles, but I’m partial to the black and white multi. (solesociety.com)

2. I love a good timepiece. Trust me. Time’s of the essence to get your very own Fat Wizard Speckled Watch from Need Supply Co. See what I did there? (needsupply.com)

3. Chain strap or not, this Mirror Envelope Bag will make the perfect accessory to any Friday night ‘fit. Plus, it’s in black and gold, my favorite color combination! (mango.com)

4. This Charlton Dress is giving me a girl-next-door vibe with its tiny daisies, and I’m all for it. (jackwills.com)

5. They’re baaaack! That’s right. I’m talking about Cinespia’s summer film screenings at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The season kicks off this Saturday with National Lampoon’s Vacation (1983), starring the wacky Chevy Chase. Be sure to bring a picnic dinner and plenty of blankets, and get ready for an amazing evening! (cinespia.com)
