1442-la-mejor-frase-que-se-ha-dicho-de-david-bowie-cortesia-de-guillermo-del-toro

The world lost a legend on Jan. 10. Not only was David Bowie a pop culture icon, but he was a hero and inspiration to many, a champion of individuality and creativity. My favorite iteration of David Bowie is seeing him in all his otherworldly glory in his role as the Goblin King in the timeless classic “Labyrinth” (cues “Magic Dance“). And don’t let “Let’s Dance” come on. That’s my one! Right now I can picture him up in heaven singing “Young Americans” with Luther Vandross on background vocals just like the song was recorded. But more than any movie or song can convey, David Bowie’s presence will be missed by those who truly knew him. I’m screaming “relationship goals” as I think about what a lovely love he had with wife and model Iman. This Wednesday Word No. 49, spoken by his pal Guillermo del Toro and hand lettered via Pictoline, echoes the sentiments of fans and friends alike and speaks to the profound void that this fearless rock star of a man leaves. May this quote also remind you to cherish those you love and let them know just how much they mean to you while they’re still here to hear it. Rest in peace, David Bowie!
