Outfit of the Night: Jumpsuit, Don’t Jump Ship

June 20, 2016

For this Outfit of the Night, I went tropical chic for my company’s chartered yacht to the Catalina Wine Mixer. Just kidding! It was a good old-fashioned sunset cruise in Marina del Rey with my colleagues to celebrate the end of the school year. See more of this look after the jump!

“Those who live at the ends of the earth stand in awe of your wonders. From where the sun rises to where it sets, you inspire shouts of joy.” Psalm 65:8

I had been looking forward to this sunset cruise for a hot minute. Work had been super busy, and we all could have used a little bit of reprieve. So this past Thursday, my colleagues and I cut loose aboard a 145-foot yacht dubbed the Entertainer in the marina. On the outside, the waters were calm and the sunset was magical. However, on the inside, the party was jumping! The dance floor was packed with people dancing like no one was watching (we all watched in awe as Billy the bus driver cleared the floor and dance like his life depended on it), the photo booth was rife with shenanigans and the spirits among all my co-workers and friends were sky high. It truly was a joyous occasion, and I’m glad I stepped out in my fun tropical print jumpsuit. The lei was a nice touch to accent the fun that we all had that night.
