This particular Outfit of the Day was captured in the height of sweater weather. Who am I kidding? I can wear a good sweater all year long since I’m always cold. Also, I love that the title I chose for this post could totally be the name of my memoir. LOL. See more smirks and the full quirky sweater look after the jump!
“How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you. … Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.” Psalm 31:19, 24
Looking back at these images reminded me of how God blesses us abundantly. Even when we can’t see an end in sight to the struggle (in this case, the winter chill), He shows up and shows out like He always does and brings newness (springtime) right on time. You’re right if you’re thinking this awesome thrifted sweater looks familiar. I was lucky to snag this gem, as well as a few others, during my first plunge into “The Pile” at La Bomba on Retro Row. Catch up on the Thrifted Thursday post where it makes its debut here. To balance out the vibrant art deco-inspired patterns found on the sweater, I paired it with my lovely, quirky booties from Circus by Sam Edelman.
