This slightly hideous but delightfully charming Christmas sweater has been a highlight of my holiday wardrobe for years. This Christmas was no different! See more of this festive look after the jump.
“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, humble, and mounted on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” Zechariah 9:9
As is tradition for me, this Christmas I made the rounds at my mom’s house, my dad’s house and my family friends’ house, interspersed here and there with a visit from friends I haven’t seen in a while. I’d like to think I helped make the holidays a little brighter with this quaint cardigan adorned with Scotties and holly. And if you look closely, the buttons are heart-shaped. You can’t help but smile when you see this ridiculous sweater. However, when I stop and think about the true meaning of the holiday, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude, hope, joy and love. On this, the last day of 2014, my desire is to carry that same sentiment into the new year.
