It was another scorcher in Long Beach this past weekend, so the high temperatures called for high hemlines. See more of this unapologetically summery look after the jump!

“From the rising of the sun to its going down, The Lord’s name is to be praised.” Psalm 113:3

This hi-low skirt is my go-to when I need to breathe, and man did I need it with temperatures reaching the 90s. I’m drinking it in as long as it lasts though, because I know I’ll be sad when the highs are in the season-appropriate 60s. Womp womp. The top is actually a bodycon dress that I’ve given new life; plus, I’m a big fan of its geometric pattern. Also, this thrifted snakeskin clutch by my homegirl, Liz Claiborne, makes its debut. I’ve had this little number for a bit and I finally worked it in my OOTD rotation. The teal bow is a solid, versatile pop of color.
