With so much going on in our lives, we may feel like we are stretched at every side trying to make things work, trying to keep it together. All around me life is tough. I have friends losing relatives, from precious little nieces to wise, revered grandmothers. I have friends losing pets to cancer. The writing’s on the wall and someone’s job is on the line. Someone feels the pressure of passing their final semester of college, or writing their graduate school thesis. People find themselves between a rock and a hard place trying to make ends meet.
But the good news is, God is in control. He’s fighting every battle on your behalf. He hears every silent prayer. He’s collecting every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). Right now God is devising a master plan that only he could orchestrate and execute so beautifully that you know that you know that you know that it was Him — and only Him — who came through for you. So to all those who are hurting, grieving, stressing or struggling, rest in the fact that you have a God who will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Oh, how He loves us. Pray hard. Trust. Believe. Keep the faith.

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” I Peter 5:7
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
