Found Objects: Street Art in Long Beach and Beyond

August 4, 2015

In this post you’ll find a collection of some awesome street art in Long Beach, Hollywood and Downtown L.A. This piece of a cool kid lounging with his best friend resting on his knee, his favorite mode of transportation at his feet and a smartphone in hand is striking. And not just because it’s ginormous. It’s a burst of colorful fun. See more of this BumbleBeeLovesYou piece after the jump!

Chuckin’ up the deuces like a legit Long Beacher! If this piece looks familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen some of the artist, BumbleBeeLovesYou, work around Los Angeles. I just love his aesthetic and the whimsy that his pieces evoke. It reminds me of the joys of childhood and youthful energy.

Spotted this grilled cheese lover last Friday in Hollywood, which instantly made me crave the Grilled Cheese Truck! It was in such a nondescript location that I wonder how many people actually notice it.

I’ve been seeing these pieces along sidewalks across L.A., and each time it’s like I’ve found another clue on a treasure hunt throughout the city.
