Last week I ran an errand with a co-worker and found myself right in the middle of some great street art in Downtown Los Angeles. Naturally, I had to document my finds. See these pieces up close and personal after the jump!

You can just feel the shade being thrown by the woman at the center of this wall of graffiti. It’s as if she’s saying, “Fools jump up to get beat down!”

I have no idea what this says, but I must say, I love the vibrant colors.

This style of lettering differs quit a bit from the previous piece, just a couple feet downwind, and that’s what I love about this section of town. So many varied expressions of art in such a small area.

This beehive was pretty dope! I liked that its bold yellow with bees flying about immediately refocuses the eyes of the passersby who casually observe that scene, which is situated on a busy street. My only wish is that there was more of it.

Until we meet again, DTLA.
