This Outfit of the Night is another from the many birthday celebrations I’ve enjoyed over the past couple of weeks. Birthday month! Woop woop! My pal, Briana, treated me to dinner at The Attic in Long Beach to commemorate this new year of life. Seriously, run, don’t walk. A Flaming Hot Cheetos crumble on all the macaroni and cheeses? Yes, please! But I digress. See the full evening ensemble after the jump!
What a wonderful weekend I had, as I hosted my Birthday Thrift Crawl, Part Deux, in Santa Monica with a gaggle of friends! This Outfit of the Day is whimsical and carefree, much like my energy that day. See more of this summery look after the jump!
Hope you all had a lovely Fourth of July! This whimsical Outfit of the Day pays homage to the red, white and blue of our great United States of America in a major way with this nautical-inspired vintage mini dress. See more of what I wore after the jump!
For this Outfit of the Night, I went tropical chic for my company’s chartered yacht to the Catalina Wine Mixer. Just kidding! It was a good old-fashioned sunset cruise in Marina del Rey with my colleagues to celebrate the end of the school year. See more of this look after the jump!
My Hawaii vacation was pretty amazing (check back tomorrow for the full Travel Log), and it was only enhanced by exploring the island’s best attractions and venues while wearing some fabulous outfits. In this dual Outfit of the Day and Night, I step out in style with two lovely pieces, courtesy of Tobi, the online retailer that has THE most darling women’s apparel and has been featured in many a Fancy Things Friday.

This particular Outfit of the Day was captured in the height of sweater weather. Who am I kidding? I can wear a good sweater all year long since I’m always cold. Also, I love that the title I chose for this post could totally be the name of my memoir. LOL. See more smirks and the full quirky sweater look after the jump!
Temecula Wine Country provides a lovely backdrop for this Outfit of the Day. While awaiting a friends’ arrival for a birthday celebration a while back at Wilson Creek Winery, I seized the opportunity to a few good naps in and I loved every minute of it. You know I had to! See the full look after the jump!
For this Outfit of the Day, I keep it simple with black and white. But it doesn’t stop there! The pops of red and gold throughout keep it interesting. See the full look and the finer details after the jump!
As you know, I’m an avid thrifter, which means that my closet is constantly expanding. Plus, I never throw anything away because why? Surely it’ll be back in style again and/or it’s a timeless classic that has no expiration date. I love all my pieces, but things were getting out of hand. I mean, clothes were everywhere in my room, bringing clutter to a space that should be serene and clean. So something had to give. I knew what I needed to do but it took my bestie stopping short of throwing all my clothes into garbage bags for me to finally start purging my closet. Even still it’s hard to process. This past weekend I donated several pieces to my local Salvation Army. Because parting is such sweet sorrow, I had to pause to remember some of my favorite items that I had to let go. See what they are after the jump!
For this Outfit of the Day, I got all matchy-matchy with my burgundy scarf, skinny jeans and lip color. Sometimes you gotta stick with a color scheme to a T. See more of this look after the jump!
