Get into this monochromatic batch of goods and wares in this week’s edition of Fancy Things Friday:

1. Ladies, we’re in the clear! These Akira Clear Ankle Strap Pump add a nice element of surprise to your typical, utilitarian black heel. Pair these pumps with your best freakum dress and get ready for a memorable night on the town. (tobi.com)

2. The Dream Noir Earrings from Miss Wax are a pop of pizzazz that I need in my life! Black, white and gold are my favorite color palette, b.t. dubs. (misswax.com)

3. Olive never looked so sweet! These Contemporary High-Waist Pants in olive make for a perfect “office by day, turn up by night” ensemble. Plus, the drawstring waist has a way of making one look pulled together. (forever21.com)

4. The Boutique Leah Polka Dot Tulle Midi Dress is a dream come true! A dress so me, I’m wondering if the designer was stalking my daydreams. Where do I begin? The polka dots I live for. The tulle provides great fun and movement. I can picture myself twirling on the dance floor in it. Woo hoo, Boohoo! You’ve done it again! (boohoo.com)

5. I love me a jumpsuit, this I’m sure you know about me by now. This Swank Us Later Tux Jumpsuit is no exception. It’s sleek and sophisticated. The double-breasted collar says “all business,” but the plunging neckline says, “Don’t forget about pleasure.” Ooooh, and those front vanity pocket flaps are a nice touch! (nastygal.com)

Get into another batch of must-have goods and wares in this week’s Fancy Things Friday:

1. RVCA has the right idea. Don’t talk about it, be about it! Look like the go-getter or girl-on-the-go that you are in this Be About It Blue Chambray Jumpsuit. Make this look your own by layering necklaces and wearing a bold heel. (lulus.com)

2. Simplicity. Major key, as my life coach, DJ Khaled, would say. This Etched Bar Necklace has it. Take the minimalist feel a step further and wear it solo. (madewell.com)

3. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think that this Ivory Floral Cut Out Sweater was a one-of-a-kind thrift store find, and I’d rejoice at the steal of an item I just found. Well, either way, I’m delighted that I found such a unique piece. I love the juxtaposition of the dainty, feminine floral appliqués against the bold ribbing found on the collar, waist and wrists. (pixiemarket.com)

4. Show off those gams with these sassy Vixen Double Strap Platform Heels. Wear it with a flouncy skater dress and brace yourself for all the double takes you’re bound to get. (tobi.com)

5. Leave it to this luxurious Zazula Biker Suedette Jacket in Teal to breathe life into any outfit missing a certain something. This piece is so versatile it’s almost unreal. Day to night. Casual and dressy. Sweet yet edgy. Fire but chill. Need it now! (missguidedus.com)

1. Party over here! Thanks to this Lee Coren Confetti Envelope Clutch, you can bring the party with you wherever you go. This Lord & Taylor clutch has rife with all kinds of razzle-dazzle goodness, but not in an over-the-top way. (shoptagr.com)

2. These Cluster Marquis Pearl Studs are for the woman who makes elegance a priority. Make a bold, luxurious statement with these gems framing your beautiful face. Werk, queen! (fallonjewelry.com)

3. With its sequin top and velvet (“What is this? Velvet?!”) skirt, you’re in for a memorable night while rocking this Lotty Babydoll Dress in Tinsel Lace by Motel. If you’re in the mood to live dangerously, throw on a bright heel to take the look to even greater heights. In this case, I’d go with cobalt blue. I’m spying a potential New Year’s Eve ensemble. (motelrocks.com)

4. These pointed toe smoking shoes are smoking hot. Kudos to Sole Society for making glitter sophisticated with these sparkly, fun Cammila numbers. Has me thinking, “Please watch your step, ’cause I’m feelin’ myself.” #hitthequan (solesociety.com)

5. Tobi has done it yet again with its lovely Within Due Time Hoodie Top. The tulip hemline and slight cowl neckline are elements that make this sweater a pleasant step apart from the norm. There’s thumbholes, too! (tobi.com)

1. The word of the day is “affogato.” This is an Italian dessert that combines gelato and espresso, and it looks like it’s just simple enough to do the trick when your sweet tooth arises. One of the readers commented suggesting the addition of amaretto, which sounds delightful. I’m looking forward to trying this quick recipe soon! (food52.com)

2. Meet Maddie, the sweet-tempered coonhound, who can be seen defying gravity by balancing on unexpected objects in the Theron Humphrey’s Maddie on Things: A Super Serious Project About Dogs and Physics. She’s so adorable! (amazon.com)

3. How fun are these Kirby pointed-toe flats with an ankle strap? They come in four other varieties, ranging from striped navy blue and white to “Natural Cuban Sand.” Dressed up or down, these snazzy flats can take an outfit to the next level. (solesociety.com)

4. This saucy little Well Suited Romper is one sure-fired way to turn heads. Plus the weather’s heating up, so short shorts are all the more welcome. (tobi.com)

5. Anthropologie does many things well. Add cell phone cases to the list, as evidenced by this Big Apple iPhone 5 case that makes me want to get out of California and paint New York red. It’s been too long! (anthropologie.com)
